Flea Market @ Bellevue & Lake Zurich

It's Sat and it's flea market day :)
Apparently Flea Markets are quite common here which I can understand why given that these people basically like to shop and buy all sorts of stuff (as you can see from the variety of stuff they are selling).

With limited storage space, they might as well sell them to get some more money so that they can shop more :)

Even such an 'antique' mobile phone can be seen here :)

Hmm...this bag cost CHF 40...not too cheap leh...thou it looks nice and later I saw a guy carrying that.

Hungry? Stop here for a sausage and bread. The most convenient and the cheapest lunch here.

This flea market is open every Sat, 8am to 4pm @ Burkliplaz. Take Tram 2 or 4 and stop at Bellevue. It's big so you won't miss it.

Lake Zurich

Uncle Tan's colleague, Danya, has kindly given us 2 Zurich cards which allow us 72 hours unlimited use of transport within Zurich city, which also includes a free ride on Lake Zurich that will take about 1.5 hours. It's been some time since I've taken a boat ride ever since my bad experience during a ferry ride during the monsoon season from Bintan . I was a little worried but tried to tell myself that ok, it's a lake, so shouldn't be too rocky.

The ferry is just opposite Bellevue, so you can take a ride on the ferry after your shopping spree at the flea market. Ticket cost is CHF 7.20 for the 1.5hr boat ride. There are several stops in between as it's also one of the transportation for the Swiss besides the trams, buses and trains. So you can drop at any place which you may find interesting.

Managed to find a seat at the back of the vessel.

Pristine water adorned with crystals...

Imagine having a dock below your house besides a garden and a garage. Cool huh :)

It's a funny feeling. I feel hot and cold at the same time. It's blowing cold breeze and yet I feel the warmth of the sun.
And when the sun is behind the clouds, I'll feel the chill again.

Yup, this is my 'frozen' look.
